The Pie Factory in Mount Airy

When you walk in the door, the smells almost knock your taste buds off. There are pies of every variety you can imagine, and of the 2 we had, they were both delicious. Very friendly customer service. Such a cute little shop.

We stopped in the bakery to get some dessert while staying in Mt Airy for the night. Not only was the service wonderful but everything we bought was delicious 😋. Especially the blueberry muffins and the cream horns. We will definitely make this an annual stop on our way to the beach.

This bakery is a dream come true- I am visiting from out of state and have been just about all over the country- and rarely do I find a hometown bakery of this quality anywhere....in addition the prices of her baked goods are very assessable to anyone’s pocket. Besides that it’s all farm fresh without preservatives. The owner also serves the community through regular donations of its baked goods to community food pantries and opens its door each week to feed the communities less fortunate completely free!... The owner is an “angel”

Bought cream horns were marked 2.50on case sold to us for 3.50 each. Where I come from that's called false advertisement. Too hard not melt in your mouth!

Insane selection. Great prices. Fun stop. I never knew I needed moonshine ice cream in my life until today.

The cherry pie is absolutely amazing, and I actually prefer apple pie! It's well worth the price. Their store is packed floor to ceiling with excellent looking treats, and in my own personal opinion, the best part are the treats made specifically for dogs, and other pets. I got two of these well priced muffins for my own furchildren and they could not get enough of them! They've never attempted to store food before, but my youngest, Loki, did his best to make sure the other would not find it, or him, when he wanted to eat it.

This place is simply amazing!! The owner is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. There are so many delicious goodies to choose from. I always come here to buy gifts because who doesn't love a yummy pie?!? This time I brought some visiting family to see the bakery and to get some pies to send home with them. Miss Angel heard about it and gave us a basket of peaches for their ride home! Whether local or visiting, Miss Angel's is a must-have experience! 💜

We stop in every time we come to My. Airey. Usually when there is a car show. So many pies and brownies and cookies. The servings are big. I have to share the brownies with my daughter....not because I'm cheap but because I can't eat that much. The average brownie is $3.95 a serving. It's all good!

Absolutely amazing! A chocolate lover's dream:) Every time I go there, I'm always greeted by super friendly people. All of their desserts are to die for. Highly recommend this bakery, whether you're a local or visitor to Mayberry.

Overwhelming in the best possible way. Amazing muffins, brownies, pies, pastry, cookies and more. They even have chicken pot pies and warm meals as well. Friendly staff and amazing ingredients make this place trouble for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Dropped in today while visiting Mayberry. Was looking for bottled Cheerwine but found the best chicken pot pie I've ever had. Too many treats to even think about in this place. Pies, cookies, cakes, brownies etc.. Definately stop in at Miss Angels for a sweet treat or one of there savory pies (chicken,beef,pork)

Miss Angels has everything you could possibly want when your sweet tooth has a craving! I've enjoyed everything I've ever tried! My favorites are the chocolate chip cookie sandwiches and the peanut butter cup brownies!

This place has the best chocolate pie. It smells amazing when you go in to shop. You will definitely find something if you have a sweet tooth. Alot to choose from that was the hard part. I wanted one of everything. 🙂

Apple pie is awesome, tastes like homemade. Carrot cake very good. Cran-orange bread was good but they need to double the cranberries. Cookies are very good. Great selection of bakery items, will definitely stop every time I'm in Mount Airy. Haven't seen a bakery like this since I moved from the North.

Wow..I've never seen so much temptation under one roof .its a must go experience..I had a peach zonker with fresh from their farm homemade peach ice cream and a huge frosting stuffed chocolate chip cookie. Yum

Don't bother to go out of your way for gluten free turn overs or single pies if you want to have it there. They used to be a delicious freshly baked treat, but they are now only available frozen. You can ask to have it heated; but that turns them to rubber, or you can sit there and watch everyone else enjoy their gluteny goodies. Disappointing. On the other hand, the girl behind the counter probably didn't know microwaving it would turn it to rubber. She was trying to accommodate a disappointed customer. AND the cherry hand pie was a tasty treat, after thawing gradually for a few hours. Just not the rarely found, freshly baked crust I anticipated from other visits.

Miss Angels is the place to go for Christmas goodies! The staff is friendly, the goods are fresh, and they do a great job supporting the community

My wife has to eat gluten free, Miss Angels was a tremendous discovery for her. There is a large selection of gluten free baked goods in addition to the delicious regular bakery items. Don't pass up Miss Angels Heavenly Pies if you are close by.

Great place! This is a big old fashioned bakery. They make excellent savory mini pies! The pulled pork pie is amazing! Next door is their ice cream shop and a gluten free bakery! Love the gluten free muffins and peach pie! They also have lots of products that contain moonshine!

The cashier was incredibly friendly and helpful. We got blueberry muffins and a small apple pie and were very disappointed. The muffins tasted like angel food cake mix with blueberries, too dense. And the apple pie was one of the worst crusts I’ve ever tasted. It tasted old or like some of the ingredients had gone bad.

Pies are mostly crust. The banana cream pie hot the texture of taffy. Pie filling should not be elastic.

The peaches are fresh and to die for. Miss Angel was very friendly and made me feel very welcome in her store.

This is without a doubt the best bakery in the region! Like Mr Gump and his shrimp, Miss Angles has every pie you can think of! We had the French Apple pie, a little hard to cut but very tasty!

This was our first visit. We were overwhelmed by the selection of treats but settled on two individual pies and a couple to cookies🍪. All were delicious. We will be back even though we live in Galax.

Absolutely one of the best bakery ever. We felt so welcome and we could have stayed and talked to the owner forever. We bought several things and would highly recommend it . Thanks so much for the home made peach muffin, blueberry muffin an the beautiful assortment of pies.

Hands down - best desert shop in the known universe. You can order a hot chili or meat pie (country sausage unmatched) as a meat option.

The ice cream was delicious and they even have gluten free cones.

If you are in Mayberry/Mt. Airy, one must stop is Miss Angels Heavenly Pies. I brought 12 of the mini pies back to Kentucky with me for family and friends. So much variety and they are all GREAT. Blackberry is my favorite, but I love them all. And cobbler is delicious as well

Miss Angel's recently made 17 pies for our wedding. They were both aesthetically beautiful and extremely delicious! We requested a couple of the pies to be gluten free, and although I did not try them myself, our gluten-free guests raved about them! Furthermore, the owner is such a sweet, friendly person - she even gave us a small moonshine apple pie as a wedding gift, which was totally unexpected (and insanely delicious)! Whether you need lots of pies for an event, or just a quick sugar fix, I would very highly recommend Miss Angel's!

This place is amazing! Miss Angel always goes above and beyond in everything she does! I’ve seen her out in the community volunteering several times and she’s always so friendly. Every time we come into her shop, she always treats us like family.
